3. 能够听懂指令,按照指令的要求完成Let’s do 的容。

4. 能够在It has …句式中运用本课所学的形容词描述动物的特征,培养学生的英语思维意识。

5. 激发和培养学生学习英语的兴趣,让学生树立自信,养成良好的学习习惯。

 

 

学情

分析

三年级学生的年龄在九到十岁左右,生性活泼好动,喜欢直观形象思维,对游戏、竞赛、画画特别感兴趣。学生学英语不久,有可能说的不好,有的还不敢说,课堂上要以表扬为主,注重培养学习英语的兴趣,鼓励他们大胆说、积极做、努力唱!让学生们在玩玩、做做、说说、 唱唱中学习英语。

Step1 Warming up

Listen and sing a song

 Our new car is a red car, a red car, a red car.

 Our old car is a blue car, a blue car, a blue car.

 Our big boat is a yellow boat, a yellow boat, a yellow boat.

 Our small boat is a green boat, a green boat, a green boat.

Look, guess and say

(1) show the picture about one of body and guess what is it? Use the sentence: Look at the _______. It has ______.

Look at the word cards and read the words.

Show the word cards (tall, fat, thin, short, long, big, small) and ask students to speak out one by one. At the same time, you should make their pronunciation are correct.

Step2 Presentation & Practice

Let’s learn

T: The father is tall and the mother is not so tall. How about “not so tall”. Can you tell me this mean? ð short

T: I have a short ruler. (show the ruler) Make students say it and use it. Fx: I have a short pencil/ crayon/ pen ….

T: This ruler is short. How about this ruler? (show another ruler)

use the same way to teach “long ” like “short”

T: I have two big hands.  Ss: I have two small hands. ð big & small  

I have big_____. I have small______. (造句)

Use “short, long, big, small….” Introduce a toy or an animal.

Listen to the tape and act it with teacher

practice

 Show the word cards one by one very quickly, and please students to speak out with their memory. Who can say more it is win.

At the same time, describe a student, and let Ss guess who is it.

small & little

 small: 指形体,数或量小,little往往带有感情色彩

big & large

 big 常指程度,围,规模,容积,重量,数量等,多用于具体的,有形的人或物,large常指面积,围,可表示数和量,其反义词为samll. (两者可互换)
